Suzanne Ostersmith, M.F.A.
Co-Creator, Director, Choreographer
Suzanne Ostersmith has taught theatre and dance at GU since 2000. She founded the Dance Minor programs at both GU and Whitworth University. She has studied at UC San Diego, the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and the British-American Drama Academy in Oxford, England, and her MFA is in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College. Other GU directing and choreographing credits include Jesus Christ Superstar, A Chorus Line, Urinetown, The Crane Wife, Seussical, Zink, Pippin, The Honorable Urashima Taro, Medieval Mysteries, Once Upon a Mattress, and the Annual Spring Dance Concerts.
Linda Schearing, Ph.D.
Playwright
Dr. Schearing completed her degree at Emory University and has taught Hebrew Bible at Gonzaga since 1993. She is the author of several books on the topics of the Book of Genesis and women in Scripture. She is also a regular contributing author to a number of Bible dictionaries. She is a nationally-sought speaker and consultant on matters related to Hebrew Scripture, Biblical Interpretations, the Bible and Popular Culture, and Gender Studies.

Robert Spittal, DMA
Composer
Dr. Spittal is a Professor of Music at Gonzaga, where he directs the Wind Symphony program and teaches music theory and conducting. He has led performances by the Clarion Brass Choir, Spokane Symphony, and many other ensembles in the US and Canada, and his compositions are published and performed worldwide. In 2015, Spittal completed two commissions for wind ensemble and conducted their premiers, and since May 2015 his works have been performed to audiences in Milan, Toronto, Sydney, Dasseldorf, and Cologne. His music is published by Boosey & Hawkes. Weaving Our Sisters' Voices is Spittal's sixth collaboration with the Department of Theatre and Dance.
