"An interdisciplinary tapestry of performance, audience, and community employing stories from Scripture"
Weaving Our Sisters’ Voices (WSV) is a contemporary look at stories of strong women from Scripture and, as a performative act, serves to inspire artists and audiences to engage in dialogue about complex issues of unjust legal systems, domestic abuse, dignity, and mutual respect in relationships among others.
The Digital Humanities project mission is to take this lived WSV experience and create multiple access points to the work for a variety of audiences. This multifaceted and interactive approach will allow both academics and the public access to the rich content of this otherwise ephemeral production.
